Google Maps is an amazing tool. Connected to Panoramio, which collects internauts' pics along with the original location, it adds extra to a variety of websites, eg. real-estate or travel portals. Below you can try the functionality, just enter the address of your choice (sth like "UK, London, Gloucester Road") and press "Show address". After the map will display it, press "Load photos" - after a few seconds photo icons appear. Clicking each one of them brings the picture along with its title and author.

Enter address: Photos found (max 20):

You can see a maximum of 20 pictures at once, so it's sometimes reasonable to zoom in, specially for high-traffic places. Higher ranked photos show first, the rank given by Panoramio hits. The original Panoramio API doesn't allow for dynamic (AJAX-like) use, so I had to use a short "piping" script, put in the same domain as the webpage with the map: ? $url = "http://www.panoramio.com/map/get_panoramas.php?"; foreach($_GET as $key=>$value) $url = trim($url, "& "); $ch = curl_init(); curl_setopt($ch, CURLOPT_URL, $url); curl_setopt($ch, CURLOPT_HEADER, 0); curl_exec($ch); curl_close($ch); ?>
